Buy a Bale goes Gangbusters

By Julianne Micallef

Ray White Kurrajong and Windsor have been overwhelmed with support from their community since they launched their Buy a Bale campaign in February, with donations coming in thick and fast.

Going all out in the marketing of the Ray White drought appeal, the Kurrajong and Windsor teams thought of everything from lining their window front and dropping DL cards to all local businesses, to free media coverage in the local paper and team shots to promote the campaign.

“We printed DL cards and delivered them to all local cafes and shops informing them what the campaign is all about. We’ve got two stories running in the local Gazette and we’ve had all staff take a Buy a Bale themed photo which will be used for marketing of the campaign,” said office coordinator of the campaign, Julianne Nunn.

As a result of their intensive marketing campaign, Ray White Kurrajong have been inundated with support and donations from their local community.

“We have people walking into the offices giving cash donations, including one local resident who donated $1,000.

“We have people calling the office asking to make credit card donations and shop owners are now asking us for tins to place on their counters for clients to make donations,” said Julianne.

But the support doesn’t end there. The Ray White Kurrajong and Windsor teams are also throwing their support behind the appeal.

“Throughout the months of February, March and April, our offices will be contributing five bales of hay for every new management listed or property sold during this period.

“We have set a goal of raising over 200 bales in total to show our support for our country cousins doing it tough,” said Julianne.

To date Ray White Kurrajong and Windsor have raised 65 bales after only two weeks
